Had Senior Cituzen Special at 6.50 and it was very fresh and delicious. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Extremely good value for money.
Just went in for some chips. These were quite tasteless and had lots of black flecks from the fryer (old batter and chip debris).

Sadly a very bad review Based on rude man who didn't seem to understand meaning of customer service Requested one of their main dishes simple Haddock & Chips but he responded rudely bluntly "no haddock" and then followed it up with a longer list of things he didn't have No apology and clearly didn't want business But a restaurant that can't even coordinate its main dishes let alone being unable to present a positive helpful and friendly welcome doesn't deserve to get busy. Suspect he relies on holiday visits and does even attempt to be welcoming and courteous Oh well went off to The Anchor Inn close by and got a warm and friendly welcome
