Lidl's just a great place for shopping, quality at bargain prices
Great store, plenty of variety for a reasonable small one.
The usual Lidl supermarket. Large carpark. Until recently, it's wide aisles gave ample space for trolleys and shopping was easy, even at busy times. Recently however, the shop floor was rearranged, the aisles are not so spacious, and when staff are out restocking with large stock cages and pallets, (most of the time) it is often not possible to get down the aisle, and as you do full circuits to get to where you want, overheard comments are mostly of frustration and exasperation, and sometimes out and out trolley rage! My advise now is to avoid at busy times if at all possible.
Would give five stars if there was room at the checkouts to pack your bags. Don't the staff see the customers struggling ?!
As you would expect with Lidl, it is a no frills grocery store with cheap prices and fairly good quality.The Sidmouth store is very well kept in comparison to other I've seen, and is our regular shop.Stock control isn't their best feature as very often things seem to been there one moment and be out of stock the next, and not just the 'specials', we're also talking milk, meat, vegetables, etc..Still, it's our regular.
