A friend and I enjoyed a delicious dinner with wines to match on New Year's Eve. Andy, the owner/chef, with his wife Annette, prepared some fine food - highly recommended for foodies.
Stayed the night with our greyhound, fantastic room though slightly small bath as us humans are both taller than 5'10! Super dog friendly, loads of lovely freebies like biscuits, dog treats and free cafetiere refills. Had dinner which was delicious and locally sourced, breakfast was wonderful and all the staff/owners were a delight. Thoroughly recommend.
Perhaps we were unlucky as generally other reviews have been good but we did not have a great night. The food was hit and miss and a number of things just didn't go right - dirty spoon, flat soda in a drink and a forgetful waitress!
My wife had won a cream tea for two on social media. Glad she'd won it and have to pay. The cream tea was very nice but was, or so I think quite pricey. There is a bar with numerous whiskies which unfortunately I couldn't try as I was driving. Clean and friendly.
5 stars are not enough! Simply amazing and the food is stunning.
