When is the building work going to be finished to help you gain more stars, although it is a peaceful place near the Donkey Sanctuary which I love.
Bit of a strange place when we went the reception block was a building site and a really strange atmosphere wouldn't go back
Lovely location. Area of outstanding natural beauty.
The facilities are clean and tidy. However the management and administration of the site left a lot to be desired. We were instructed to check in between 4 and 5 pm which seems rather late in the day given that we were actually paying for that day. We arrived sometime after 4pm to discover what appeared to be a derelict reception area with no-one in attendance. There was a mobile number to call which went to message bank. We're starting to get worried now. Ok let's cut this story, we're all getting bored. After finally settling in to our cottage some time after six the rather stressed manager returned to our door to advise that we had been allocated to the wrong cottage. Could we move. No we couldn't. Tomorrow. After settling in to the correct cottage the following day life went back to normal. The shower recess water drained very slowly the bed was way too soft, but hey we survived.
Lovely bungalow but the site as a whole is being refurbished. It will be great when finished but still has a way to go.
