Only spent the one night here, it was quite cold and almost dark when we arrived but The welcome was warm and friendly. The toilets were beautifully warm, the showers were hot and the place was immaculately clean. We cycled to the nearby pub up the hill on the very dark narrow road, where we enjoyed a lovely carvery and a couple of beers, then cycled at some speed back to the site. The return trip was certainly easier than the outward one. I don't think we peddled once! The Site is set in the woods but within large clearings so in daylight it has a bright airy feel. On a clear night the stars are amazing. TV reception was good as was 4g signal.

Fantastic place to visit. Lovely caravan park everything there shower blocks ate nice and clean staff very helpful. Nice pub 45mins walk from site.

I can't thank the staff enough for making my stay a real pleasure!!!All of the staff were very helpful and friendly and pleased to help in whatever way they could!!! I had a difficult family situation to deal with locally, so returning to the site after a difficult day was bliss!!!I am disabled and the facilities on site were fantastic and kept to a very high standard. I have even arranged additional modifications at home based on the layout of the disabled facilities on site :-)) I was made to feel welcome at all times and felt the staff were doing their utmost to be helpful to make my stay a really good one!!!I am looking forward to visit again in the Autumn. The staff and the amazing standard the staff keep the site, are a real credit to the club!!!

Nice site. ..well maintained. Spotless toilet/shower blocks. Laundry/dish wash facilities. Local pub ( recommended) short walk through site. There is a flight path directly above which may annoy some! Would definitely go back.

Entering the site you are greeted with the reception which is adorned with baskets and pots of flowers which shows that the site staff care about the site.Booking in is a very friendly affair and any questions you have will be answered with local knowledge.Security barriers are in place on the entrance and exit for your piece of mind all require a key fob to enter and exit. The site is slightly on a hill but this doesn't cause any really issues as the pitches are side on to the access road which is fully tarmacked through out the grass pitches which isn't a lot are towards the back of the site some will need blocks to achieve a level pitch. The site has non awning pitches and newly installed service pitches which will increase the cost should you require these. All pitches for car caravan and awning are generally big enough to make you stay enjoyable. Space between pitches is upto caravan club standards and won't have you feeling on top of one another.Plenty of spaces around the toilet blocks which this site has two should anyone with mobility issues need to be near to and the paths are all good for wheelchairs or walkers. Both toilet blocks are kept to the standards that members expect and very much appreciateThe dog walk is the only real cause for concern as it's not fenched off to the road which at peak times has vehicles that go past. If you four legged friends are good off the lead then it's not a problem but you need to walk this area at least once with them on a lead to satisfy yourself with the safety of your pets. That said it's still a nice area through some wooded area which provides a lot of shelter from the elements, nice and tidy. Dog bins at both ends so no worries here.
